Sustainability
Decarbonising the line, one rotation at a time.
A net-zero commitment for 2045 backed by vessels on the water now — not pledges for a distant fiscal year.
Methanol dual-fuel fleet
Twelve newbuilds on order through 2027, running on green methanol with a marine-diesel fallback. The first, Meridian Skagen, is already in commercial service on the Asia–Europe loop.
Shore power at berth
Vessels switch to grid electricity at 18 equipped terminals, shutting down auxiliary engines and cutting in-port emissions and noise to near zero.
Voyage optimisation
Weather routing and just-in-time arrival hold vessels at economical speeds, trimming fuel burn and the wake of waiting at anchor.
Modal shift inland
Rail and barge carry the long inland legs wherever corridors allow, lowering door-to-door emissions versus road by up to 62% in Europe.
The roadmap
Targets we report against
Baseline verified; first two shore-power berths commissioned.
Lead methanol vessel delivered and deployed on AE7.
Interim target: 45% cut in fleet carbon intensity vs. 2023.
Net-zero across owned and chartered operations.
